Google Ads account suspended: how to get it back
Most suspended accounts are not lost because of the original reason, but because of a rushed appeal or one sent without fixing the website. Here is the method we use at Agencia PPC to reinstate accounts, plus the full PDF guide to download for free.

1. Identify what Google is blaming you for
Before doing anything, carefully read Google’s email and the notice in your account. The exact reason drives the whole strategy. These are the three most common:
Unacceptable business practices
Google believes your website or ads may mislead users: using a third-party brand, misleading promises or a lack of transparency about who runs the business.
Circumventing systems
The account is linked to another suspended account (payment method, users, domain or MCC), was created during a suspension, or the website changes depending on the visitor. The original account must be resolved first.
Advertiser or business verification
Google asks for proof of identity or of your business model and blocks the account meanwhile. Complete it before appealing, with documents that exactly match your details.
We also resolve: compromised site or malware, suspicious payments, cloaking and redirects, misleading information, destination requirements, trademarks, financial services and limited serving.
2. The 7-day protocol
Appealing right after the suspension is the most common mistake. The first appeal matters most: prepare it.
- Day 0
Stop
Don’t click “Appeal”. Save the email, the reason and the account ID. Don’t touch the suspended account and don’t open new ones.
- Days 1 to 7
Fix
Audit the website and the account: disapproved ads, assets, final URLs, users and billing. Complete any pending verification.
- Day 7
Appeal once
Explain who you are, what you changed and what you commit to, with supporting evidence.
- +5 business days
Answer
This is the usual delay. If rejected, make substantial changes before appealing again.

3. What Google checks on your website
An appeal without visible changes on the website has very little chance. At minimum, check:
- Who is behind it: company name, registration number, address, phone and business email in the footer and legal notice.
- Complete legal pages: legal notice, privacy, cookies, about us and contact, with no broken links.
- No confusion with other brands: no third-party logos or colours.
- The same website for everyone: no redirects or content that changes by device, country or URL parameters.
- Secure and accessible: HTTPS everywhere, clean security scan and fast loading on mobile.
4. The 5 mistakes that cost the account
- Creating another account: Google suspends everything linked (payment, users, domain, MCC).
- Appealing in a rush: generic appeals without real changes are rejected quickly.
- Repeating the same appeal: every rejection counts, and after too many attempts Google stops reviewing them.
- Promising what isn’t live yet: everything you claim must be visible on the day of the appeal.
- Contradicting yourself: verification, appeal and billing information must be consistent.
